February 2010

This month was pretty short, but still it wasn't dull. To start with, it was the month of love and friendship because of San Valentine´s Day. So I spent the day with my closest friends and relatives. Then I had a math competition along with my generation, which by the way was won by my team. However not everything was perfect and happy, because I happened to had a truth revelation that show me what I dread the most. So now I understand when people say that the truth hurts. Despite all the chaos… Continue

My life started the 4 of April of 1979 in Australia, where I was raised by my parents. Unfortunately they didn’t stay together forever. When I was 11 my parent got divorce, which made me very depressed. Even though I was very sad, my sister Kate inspired me to act on stage. At the age of 16 I dropped school and went to Sidney to try my luck in acting.… Continue

Blog 9. The most beautiful place I've ever been

The most cool place I've ever been is 'Vive Cuervo Salón.' It was a great experience to be there. I saw the Jonas Brothers there for the first time and it was pretty amazing. I actually didn't see the whole place when I entered, but I had one of the best times in my life. It… Continue

You're Gonna Like Tomorrow

Today might be one of those days when you feel that everything's has gone wrong. Today you may have failed a subject, but I have to tell that you're going to like tomorrow. Because even when you have started the day with the left foot there's always a chance that tomorrow will be better. It's true, we don't certainly know what the future can bring us, but hoping that today's problems will eventualy erase is a nice way of thinking positive. What have I learned?

In this semester on the class of English remedial V I have learned about the adjectives, nouns, present and past perfect and past participle, this is all in order to be able to pass the TOEFL exam with a score needed to graduate. But mostly what I have learned is to be responsible and honest and that the teacher has taught us to do things with real honesty, because he gives us the opportunity to rate our tests thus he try our knowledge and honesty.

January 2010

What I've learned this month in the English class is to identify the composition of a sentence. I have learned the different types of words (adverbs, verbs, adjectives, nouns, prepositions, interjections, connectors and articles). Another thing I learned this month was to always tell the truth since there's no point at lying to others and ourselves. Someone once told me that "What is done in the dark, in the Day it will come out," which obviously refers that secrets always are discovered. And… Continue

Reading

I'm sorry but I love to read anywhere at anytime. The best thing about reading is that you can get travel to a new world without spending any money. It's also said that reading improves mind skills such as imagination and memory. So I don't apologize for reading too much because there's just too much you can learn and so little time to do it. Books also makes us remember our history and how much we have evolved. And even though not so many people read nowadays, I'll keep doing it as long as I… Continue
