1. You can use an Auxiliary verb. For example: I have never used a blue dress, but Lucia has. 
2. Try using new words (synonyms). For example: Sam loves to eat chocolate cake, Jessica loves  likes it too. 

3. Ellipsis- by omitting one or more words. For example: There were 20 athletes in the competition from Canda ... visiting Mexico.

1.- When it has an Auxiliary
I have never been in Russia
But Obama has
2.- Auxiliary absent
I went to the party
But Abraham didn't
3.- verb "be"
Who was sick yesterday
John F. K. was.

Homework  -  Avoiding Repetition

1. Auxiliareis/Short Answer

Ex: Will you play soccer next week? Yes, maybe I will.

2. Reduced Infinitives

Ex: I do not to hurt your feelings. I think you do mean to.

3. Ellipsis

Ex: Who did this? Rodrigo...
