Today global warming is considered one of the most powerful in the world due to the impact that this phenomenon entails. Global warming is the imbalance of global temperature, oceans, and ecosystems, generated by excess greenhouse gases accumulating in the atmosphere.
Since the middle of last century the situation becomes really critical so that countries and organizations around the world have to make strategies to combat it and awareness in the population of what is happening.
Of all the organizations stands out one that has much relevance in the world and is the "UN." Which has been in charge of caring for the environment during all these years since its founding in 1945.
The UN plays a very important because I do a deal in December 1997 and took place in Japan, this was called "Kyoto Protocol".
We conducted a conference at which they talked about climate change and its impacts, which were 160 countries belong to this agreement, which took place on the Kyoto Protocol, and it was established that most industrialized countries responsible for at least 55% of carbon dioxide emissions should be reduced before 2012. I believe that the initiatives proposed by the UN are very good and is another step towards improving the planet.
Now a days the Automobiles, heat from homes and businesses, this all depends on factories wich are responsible for about 80% of today's carbon dioxide emissions, 25% of methane, and 20% of the nitrous oxide emissions. Agriculture, deforestation, landfills, industrial production, and mining also give carbon dioxide emissions but in a very minimal amount.
I think we should be more conscious that what is happening around us, such as caring for drastically reducing forest exploitation and forest fires.
If we can reduce the greenhouse gases going into the atmosphere, we probably can slow the rate of global warming and climate. There are a number of things that we can do to prepare for the changes that are coming. If we act now, perhaps we can "soften the blow" of the greenhouse effect. In the future, the weather cold change much more dramatically from year to year than it does now.
